Check out this video that Renner just sent me. by: Steven Haughelstine
Ronnie Renner, Myles Richmond, Tommy Clowers and Jeff Tilton shred the wind infested So Cal desert for a few days. Fully edited by Ronnie Renner, and done with 100% Go Pro Hero Cam video and photos. Ronnie is becoming quite the videographer/ editor. He is always making these sweet little videos from footage with his Go Pro helmet cam. Last time out when I was filming him for our next DVD “The Elements” we even traded off my camera, and he filmed me for a bit. This always can come in handy. What Do Captain Morgan and Nick Dunne have in common?

Nick Dunne, the O.G. of the Captain Morgan trick… by: Steve Haughelstine

If you are thinking “Who the hell is Nick Dunne,” let me tell you Nick is one of the Nor Cal FMX boys that is slowly but surely becoming more and more well known. He was featured in our last video “From the Ground Up 2” and has been doing FMX shows all over the globe for the past couple years. These days in the world of freestyle motocross, it is almost impossible to invent a new trick. Guys have done double backflips, ruler flips, crazy 3 trick combos, and pretty much everything thinkable, but it doesn’t always have to be a crazy trick to get the crowds cheering. Some time over the last summer Nick started doing one of the sweetest tricks of all time…the Captain Morgan. Nick even sent these pics to that “Pose Off” contest that the rum company held this last year, but was denied. What crap, he should have won.

Nick is always a crowd favorite. Not only because he has sweet tricks like the Captain Morgan, but because he is an all around solid rider with Gumby-like extension on every trick! ![]()

To show just how solid of a rider Nick Dunne is, here is a video from a little trip to Mexico I like to call “The Worst FMX Demo Ever”. The story here is that the guys that were supposed to build the jumps for the show said they knew how, but from the looks of the garage door landing ramp, I don’t think they had a clue. So we had to make a landing out of beach sand and ply-wood, with a gap of 45 ft. Take a look, Nick cracks off some high speed tricks anyhow…
