When Music and Film mesh together you get a more powerful viewing experience! by: Steve Haughelstine
It doesn’t matter if you are a fan of Hip Hop, Country, Rock, or Metal music, almost every single time that someone watches a bad ass video segment anywhere, the first question that is always asked is: “What song is that?” This is proof of just how important music can be for a film or video. I just wanted to get a head start and fill you all in on a band from my home town in San Diego, CA, CAGE. These guys are classified as Power Metal, one of my favorite genre’s, it gets you pumped up before you ride, and makes you want to rule the world. Here are a few songs off their Last album “Hell Destroyer.” Turn the volume all the way up and put on a neck brace, you are about to do some serious head banging!!!
Being a video producer, I listen to a lot of music, and CAGE has become one of my favorite Metal bands over the past year. Metal music might not be for everyone, but I love the Power and Intensity of their sound. I met up with Mat out the Red Bull compound where he was practicing for the up coming X-Fighters event down in Mexico. Mat has only been on the bike for a couple months since getting a rod removed from his Femur. I must say that he looked as smooth as he always does, and as the overall winner of the Red Bull X-Fighters series for 2008, I am sure he will do just fine in the events to come.

This all started a couple months back when I was starting to film for my next DVD called “ELEMENTS.” Ronnie Renner and I were out at ocotillo wells doing some riding/ filming after it had rained, the dirt was so good that we set up some lights to ride at night. The last night shoot went so well that we decided to do another one out at his ranch. I cant always put up a video, then I would have no sweet shots left for the DVD, so here are some pics, enjoy…
